Jonathan McCrea is an award-winning science and technology broadcaster (Newstalk/RTE) and Founder of Whipsmart Media, a training and knowledge-based events company. An early adopter, Jonathan worked for BT as a network administrator and Siemens as Information Security officer before beginning a career in media. He was a technology reporter for Newstalk before he created Futureproof, a weekly science and technology programme.
Jonathan has hosted hundreds of events as MC for clients such as Enterprise Ireland, Deloitte, Microsoft, Irish Times, Newstalk, many of them focusing on AI and its application across various disciplines and industries. He will host the World AI Summit in October 2024.
